Most wellness programs focus on one thing at a time.

But your wellbeing isn't one thing — it's nine. And when even one or two dimensions are lagging, it drags down everything else. This seminar gives you the complete picture.

About the Event

This 90-minute live seminar is for adults who feel that something in their health or life isn't quite where it should be — but can't pinpoint exactly what. Whether you're a busy professional running on empty, someone navigating a major life transition, or simply someone who wants a clearer picture of what wellness actually looks like for you — this seminar delivers a literature-backed framework that goes far beyond diet and exercise. By the end, you'll have a personalized snapshot of your wellness across nine dimensions of your life, clarity about where your energy is most needed, and a concrete first step toward meaningful change.

Meet Your Host: Jeff Taekman, M.D.

Professor Emeritus of Anesthesiology, Duke University  Graduate, Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.  Not only am I a physician, researcher, and Professor Emeritus at Duke University, but I am also a patient. In 2006, I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. Instead of accepting a lifetime of medication management, I went deep into the research: thousands of papers on the microbiome, nutrition, sleep, stress, and lifestyle medicine. What I found changed everything. I achieved remission through integrative approaches, without medication.  That experience reshaped my entire understanding of what wellness means and why the conventional model, focused on disease management rather than whole-life thriving, leaves so much left to be desired.  I went on to complete a 1,000-hour Fellowship at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine and spent 17 years as an Anesthesiologist and Assistant Dean for Educational Technology in the Duke University School of Medicine.  I've spent the last several years building the Nine Dimensions framework — a literature-based, physician-developed model for understanding wellbeing across every dimension of a whole life.
